Can you pray for us and with us?

The below is from our family update newsletter.  To see the whole thing, CLICK HERE

The last couple months has been a whirlwind for the Moss family. Starting in February with time in Flordia as a family and then Logos training in Washington for Bobby; from then until now it seems like we’ve been going non stop.

But we are going to be intentionally putting on the brakes in some ways over the next few weeks. Jeannette & I are going to be taking the next four weeks to pray and fast about the future. We’ve obviously been praying about it for awhile, but I’ve really felt burdened these last couple weeks to take a special season and do this.

Starting this Mon, April 26th and going until Sun, May 23rd, we’ll be specifically praying for God’s guidance and clarity as we look to our next step in ministry.  We are specifically praying for God’s direction, His wisdom, and for provision. Together we’ll be participating in a Daniel Fast (CLICK HERE for more info on what the Daniel Fast is), and also praying together each day in the mornings and evenings.

But here’s the big question we have for you reading this: will you join us? Will you pray with Jeannette & I? Will you join us for part of the fast?

We’re looking for people who will commit to a specific day to pray with us and for us. We’re also looking for people to commit to a specific day to fast. Maybe you’d be able to do both. We’re doing this for 4 weeks, we’re just asking you for one day!

Ready to join us? Here’s what to do:

Look at the calendar of dates and pick which day you’d like to commit to. It would be better to fill up earlier dates, but pick whichever one(s) you’d like.

During the day you choose to pray for us, we’re asking that you choose two different 5-10 minute windows during the day to specifically stop and pray for us and the things we’re praying for (God’s direction, wisdom, and provision). You can obviously pray for us every day—but we’re looking to have different people committed each day to these type of moments.

If you choose to fast, we’re asking that you either do a juice fast from sun down to sun down—spending those meal times praying, or just fast for one meal—spending that time in prayer for us. If you’d like more information on what’s involved in fasting and how to conduct a fast, CLICK HERE.

Once you know what day you want to commit to, please email me and let me know: bobbymoss@gmail.com.

I’ll contact you a few days before your day to remind you it’s coming. And from there—just please be in prayer for us.

We are very excited about the future. We look at where we are right now and everything that’s led to today, and we know that we’re right where God wants us. We are just asking people to join us as we ask Him what the next step is. Please consider joining us during these next four weeks, starting this Monday the 26th.

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. Col 4:2-4

Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails. Prov 19:21
