I think there's something to be said about not having something to say.
We're all guilty of playing expert on issues we really know nothing about. Speculation is good, conversation necessary, and learning many times an untapped gold mine. But admitting you don't know everything is usually the best launching pad for reaching understanding and wisdom.
As my old soccer coach used to say, "I used to think I knew everything, then I realized I don't know anything and became the smartest person in the world."
